Nicely done Mike! And kudos for having the big brass ones to sing a cappella! Thanks for sharing

how the hell do you get such a good quality from an mp3 player??
eveerything I try sounds like recorded through the telephone.

Well done Mike very good recording!

I'll see if I can do a 'demo' and load it up as soon as possible...

Thanks for all the comments...glad you liked it.

As for the sound quality, i use creative mp3 players...that one was recorded on a zen vision w, it's an awkward thing to carry but it holds 15,000 songs (of which i have 2,200) and pics and vids as well...so it was worth the money.

Most players and phone will generally have decent quality.

ok on with the show...who's going to do 45 seconds of ecstacy?...my vote still goes to Helen!

Mikey boy mikey boy... listened to the recording again now since I'm more awake not changed my opinion about it, is still very very impressive - it's a good sort of relaxing version of the song (entertaining moment on the last note however when my boss walked in and my computer suddenly went "go ahead and cry like heeeeeeeeellllllllllllllllll!"!!)
anyway am sure will talk to you some more about it later or whenever

Next question....anyone who's an expect on the guitar / keyboard / piano fancy creating a backing track for say....45 seconds of ecstasy??

Blimey Mike that was weird...you must have posted whilst I was still typing mine coz that wasn't there then!!

If you have a mic on your pc/laptop you could make a recording via that (to the person that asked!) or on a camera with a sound recording function and then upload to the pc and convert to an MP3.

Mike if you're putting votes my way vote with errr...actions and get me a backing track then I'll think about it

of course we'd then need to make sure said track is in the correct key...but hey, one thing at a time

alright here's my first attempt to create a demo for Heaven Can Wait:

http://rapidshare.com/files/13881136...demo_.WAV.html

nothing mixed, just me and the cd running in the background.
screwed up two or three notes, sorry for that.

Tell me what you think!
