Original Sin,

thanks for your advice, i know what you are meaning.... Thanks for your help, and the kind words you wrote.

Hope indeed, that some people missed me or see me as a friend. Cause i'm not an as.hole. Just having a really tough time.... and that takes lots of energy.... and keeps me from clear thoughts..... that is hard.

Well any way... i'm back again.

Wanted to post this last night but I think them gremlins must have been around!:

Just wanted to say, reading the posts last night made me realise exactly what a great site this is!

Tim,
Just be yourself.
The way i see it is....If someone is your friend, you like them for the person they are, you do not want to change them in any way.you like them, enjoy thier company, laugh with them through good times.
When they are having a really tough time, and nothing is right,or they are behaving out of character as a result........you don't love them any less. They're still the same person, still your friend. They have not changed, only the circumstances around them have. They are still the same person you know and love, so you support them and help in any way you can. That's the whole meaning of friendship.
We like you for the person you are Tim, we like you because you're you.

Once a friend always a friend, as far as i'm concerned

Bren

I'm glad you're back.

Dear auntie Sin,

even though my mother (Bren) claims to be a reformed postwhore, i am finding it more and more difficult to find time to come on the computer and the forums, as she seems to spend every waking moment here.

what can you do to help? what do you suggest i do?

Dear Keab

This must be terribly distressing for you! I think there are several options open to you.

1/ Bug her to buy you your own computer! have you seen the advert "mummy can i have a rabbit?"
2/ Save up and buy your own computer
3/ Check out the library and any cyber cafes
4/ Campaign local council for cyber cafes if necessary
5/ Introduce her to a new hobby
6/ Invite her friends and or neighbours over and then jump on the computer
7/ When she's asleep get some packing tape and tie her up so she can't get to the computer.........do remember to pass her food and water though
8/ Previous suggestion...spike her drinks and when she's out cold hey presto the computers all yours

Hope this helps

Sin

Mrs Mouse

You are suffering along with the rest of the counrty at the moment there are however a few things you can do to make yourself more comfortable.

* Make sure all the windows are open
* Strip off or wear a bikini
* Find a suitable male to fan you whilst you are relaxing I'll leave you to decide who
* Try laying in the bath. Even without water it can be a lovely cool place.
* You could fill the bath with cold water and ice
* Treat yourself to a portable air conditioning unit( well worth it believe me)
* Get a pool for the garden
* Buy up every fan in B&Q and have them at stategic point around the house.
* Open fridge and Freezer doors and sit in front of it

or if all of the above fail

* Get totally wrecked fall asleep and the heat wont bother you

Hello Bren the Bat,

I suggest the same as Orignal Sin has done for your childeren, but the difference is that you could do all the things she suggested by / on / at your childeren.

Other suggestions:
- Buy a second computer and make a LAN network
- sell your childeren
- Put the computer in a room with a lock on the door (and keep the key for yourself)
- give your childeren candy (they will be busy with that for hours)
- Emigrate to the Netherlands.....

The Butcher.
