Sorry about the car Helen

My son went out monday morning to find somebody had gone into tha back of his and drove off. And as we live in a cul de sac it must have been someone we know. He took it to the garage and they said up to £1000 and could even be a write off

Thanks everyone...! Monstro you are SPOT on with that...although in the mood I was in when I saw it, it's a good thing I couldn't get my hands on the ****** that did it!

All the responses on here make me wonder what is going so wrong with the world - I don't think I could drive off if I accidentally crashed into someone's car either - I'd never live with the guilt! That's terrible for your son Deb, and unfortunately he'll probably never find out who did it unless they subsequently come forward - it's so inconvenient and unfair!

Good luck Cathie and well done on getting 3 essays done - I can well remember the days of essay & dissertation traumas - so unfair that they always seem to be due in at once (although I probably never really helped myself by leaving it all to the last minute!). I don't envy you at all! Just keep remembering it'll all be worth it in the end (and look forward to the humongous relief you feel after you've completed / handed in your disseration!)
