Saw Dark Knight last night, great film and it wasn't hype about Heath's performance!!! Only critisism about the film was there was almost too much going on with too many twists and changing storyline, I'd have preferred it slightly shorter with less happening.

Saw The Dark Knight earlier. Really impressed by it, I liked it a lot. Can't wait for it to come out on DVD now.

I have wanted to see this for awhile now and so when I caught it on TV on Saturday I watched it and it was an amazing insight into the life of Charlie Chaplin, I've seen Modern Times and bits of The Great Dictator and he has fascinated me in a strange sort of way, and also this is history and I love history and all in all a really good film and one I highly recommend . Sadly I was not so fortunate with this one, I caught it half way through but I loved it all the same, it was very silly but more slap stick than serious gangster movie. Michelle is great in it . |

Saw Wall-E yesterday.
Absolutely gorgeous movie. I love it. Disney and Pixar have done it yet again. Brilliant story, stunning effects and a whole bunch of laughs along the way. |

It kind of puts me off though, the robot, Wall.E reminds me of the little robot in Batteries Not Included and in a strange way I like that movie and so mimicking that little robot puts me off this movie, it's not original and just seems they've modled him totally of those little dudes !

A hole in one
strange movie...definitely not the "black comedy" it was advertised as. Took a long time to get started and didnt really knew where it wanted to go... Featured some fine acting by the Loaf though, he was killed with an icepick this time and his head ended up in an ice-bag. |

The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas, a funny little musical with Dolly Parton, Burt Reynolds and Dom DeLuise, I got this by accident and have to say I quite like it I plan on getting the soundtrack one day, and I love Dolly's version of I Will Always Love You the best, she wrote it for this film I believe. I'm always fighting tears at this point it's so sad.
This is also another song I like; Last edited by MeatGrl1; 13 Aug 2008 at 12:06. |
