Hellboy II: The Golden Army.
A little cheesy in parts but aside from that, pretty good. Some great fight scenes. |

The Squeeze
average movie, nothing special but good to kill 1 1/2 hours. rather small, not too demanding role for the Loaf. Sadly he didnt die in this one either. |

The Grudge.
Thought it was a bit boring to be honest. Just about watcheable I guess. I seem to prefer the more cliche American horror movies like "No Vacancy" and "Dead End". |

Only £4.99 from Play.com.
For years I wanted to see the alternative ending and just watched it on YouTube. I can see why they left it out, it really wouldn't have fit in with the rest of the movie. The two extra songs are interesting but the plants taking over the world is just disturbing/wrong and not fun at all imo. |

Just watched the rest of this;
It's a very moving story, and is also based on true events. |

must have really fallen asleep then, all I remember was that from one point on he didnt appear anymore. lol
I mean, He didnt die at the door/handcuffs/fire scene... Did he still sit in the car when it went into the river? If so, I didnt think this would necessarily mean he dies......:cunfused: Quote:
That said, those american remakes of japanese horror movies arent bad in general. I really liked the ring. (although the ending with the zombie girl climbing out of the tv was a bit ridiculous IMO. Last one I watched was the third Austin Powers movie. Not too thrilled by that one, was a good way to pass the evening though. |

very intelligent movie, would have liked it more if they didnt add all those combat scenes, as they didnt do anything for the story. (theyve been added afterwards as the studio was afraid the movie would be "too boring" for the common cinema-goer)

Abba The Movie.
It was great. The difference between this and the Abba musical we went to see in between shows in London (may 2007) was as to be expected, so now I have two separate memories . Differences as in: in a movie there are sooo many more options like where it is filmed and many more people to join in at the background. The live singing and music is the special part of the musical. But of course that counts for everything that is both live and on film |

Reminds me of the scare afterwards...
Only days after we were there, a car with bombs was found on the steps of the venue of the musical. When I recognized it, it felt like being in the wrong movie! |
