There are places here that will try to recover data from crashed disc but it is expensive. On the other hand, some of them will tell you if they can actually recover data, how much and how much it will cost in advance...

Note to self: if you're going to use the bath taps for anything, ensure that the shower mode isn't on. Especially if you happen to be fully clothed at the time.

Makes up for it not raining outside I suppose.

i got through the flood that came up to the bottom of the car door... only to chicken out at the next (deeper looking) one lol

Another tip...even if it is a super expensive bottle of shampoo...it is NOT recommended to drop it on your foot!!!

next job when it stops will be to go back outside and empty surpless water from pots.
so much for having nothing to do today
spotless house though (as an indication of how little i've had to do today). and one hour now to make and eat tea before X-factor...wooo!
