thought so too, but watched some movie (cant remember which one) where they referred to it as New Orleans all the time.......actually it sounded more like New Orlins...
but Zina you should be right.....Jeanne D'arc after all is still known as the Maid of Orleans, not the Maid of Orlins.

The french pronounciation sounds much more poetic anyway.
