right, I've sort of networked the new PC and the old one - I can get online through the network, but I can't access any of the files on the old PC through the new one, whioch is what I want to do. Anyone got any ideas?!

MS Products always are crap until they bring something new out which is crapper than before.

Win2K is superb by comparison, or it would be if it was going to be continued to be supported.

I don't really think there's a big diff in xp or vista but that's mainly cause my use for it varies

RJ, you can push your point from here to there but Andy already told you that the best they've ever had that are not supported now were NT and then build on it were 2000...
