HI Lyn,

I would of loved to have seen Bon Jovi as well but according to a friend who went he wansn't that great in life. I guess live performances are so diffrent from the polished releases we get on cd's, dvd's and Radio.

For the second time this year, I accompanied my sister to see Steps. It was my first outdoor concert and it was a different experience to any of the other shows I've been to, the atmosphere was a lot more relaxed than arena shows and it was kind of nice to have a picnic beforehand,

I never thought that Steps would be the people I'd be seeing twice and had I have had things my way, they wouldn't have been.

I've just seen...the heart-stopping, pants-dropping, house-rocking, earth-quaking, booty-shaking, Viagra-taking, love-making, Legendary E Street Band! Twice!

Two fabulous shows at Wrigley Field in Chicago, including guest appearances by both Tom Morello and Eddie Vedder both nights. And, unfortunately/fortunately, I got to experience one of those rain shows first hand.

According to Bruce, they do. Hey, most of them are close to/over 60- what do you expect?

Of course, if any of them have an erection that lasts as long as the Helsinki show (4:06), they need to seek medical attention.

Just something stupid you didn't need to know but I'm telling anyway

Spring and steen are two Dutch words. And if you translate them you get Jump and stone. So basically if we translate his name to English (I said it was stupid) you get the name Bruce Jumpstone

That's cute! Yep, it is a Dutch name, I believe, though he's mostly Italian and Irish.

You just reminded me of this though: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Le2NYMfcvw0

I did manage to get ONE great picture before the rain started:

Another one for me last night- I saw Rush at the United Center in Chicago. I picked up a great seat at the last minute. Excellent show- these guys play spot-on. I LOVED the visuals as well.

Got a slew of nice pics: http://s249.photobucket.com/albums/g...view=slideshow

PNC Arena on July 19th, 2010.

A NYC show will happen eventually, but not as soon as expected.

Default MIKA

Have been flashed by Mika last week here in Cologne, Germany.

Songs are simple yet special.
Very charismatic and sympathic performer.
Many improvisations giving it a reall live feeling (not unlike ML).
Us being the oldest farts in the venue...
