It wasn't a film, the last thing I saw was the final part of this Anne Frank drama and it made me cry, it was so sad .

Talking

One of my favourite Val Kilmer films, he's gorgeous and the movie isn't half bad either and has a stunning soundtrack to boot .

"Hey Maverick, you big stud.
Take me to bed or loose me forever !"

ICE MAN: You !... You are still dangerous ! You can be my wingman anytime !
MAVERICK: Bull sh*t ! You can be mine.

The Best Man

Very interesting movie with Henry Fonda about two politicians trying to become their party's presidential candidate and the methods they use in order to oust each other. Includes a short appearance by Mahalia Jackson.

30??? I saw it on Amazon for € 15,98. That DVD release is already a few years old, maybe they'll release a new one with extras soon...

Just watched Carnival of Souls.

Jesus...what for? Did they run out of the movies to remake? I often watch very old movies and there is a treasure to be found there to remake...

Haven't seen a remake that was better than the original yet. (I have to admit that I enjoyed watching The Mummy with Brendan Fraser. It was not better but different and more funny than the original version with Karloff.) It seems as if Hollywood is running out of ideas.

I watched The Women yesterday - the original from 1939. An excellent movie and by far more entertaining than the remake.
