Robbery, I can understand (although not condone) but people who do stuff like this are completly beyond my understanding.

It's like they get off on it.

A few weeks ago, this happened to one of my old semi regular clients.

They gave him a good beating, stole the money from the safe and tills, then gave him another good hiding.
What the hell did they need to beat him a second time for?
They didn't even have to beat him up the first time.

Real tough guys huh to take on a couple of old people who haven't got a chance to fight back

I think unfortunately some of them do get off on it.

There's nothing about either of those instances that could be considered spur of the moment. Both times it was planned out and it's frightening that the mind can think up such evil.
