I would get Sky again if I didn't have to sit throw a single TV add when watching live TV, then it would be worth the money imo. With 20 min adds in place in a one hour tv slot it feels like rip off to me.

I agree about that and would recommend it exactly for that to anyone wanting choice. I usually end up watching BBC or ITV though and prefer to wait to get tv shows like 24 or Lost on DVD so I can watch them a lot quicker and without the ads as I said.
Sky is also the only one doing HD here at the mo (or you can get the FreeSat thing). But I will wait for FreeView HD which is coming to my area next year and then get another box. Should be good.
With more people in the household a Sky+ box also makes sense but since I live by myself I don't think it is worth it at the moment.

you can almost certainly get a sky+ box free if you agree another 12 month contract (on any package)

actually phone them, and they will probably upgrade you.. (to hd)

as for sky hd... dont worry about it.. its only low def high def

Still a pain in the backside though
I guess that's the punishment for having said "warranty expired, sorry" that often. Now it has happened to me, LOL. Fortunately I'm a computer nerd and never throw away old equipment. I found a CRT display in my vault that I can use for now. Unfortunately my eyes aren't used to that type of monitor anymore. Tomorrow I'll probably look like this or this .

I must be staying up way too late for characters in Super Mario Galaxy to get a chance to tell me it's probably time to be sleeping.

No the dish and the cables are all 8 years old Monstro. I have Sky+ alright, but the original sky box was working fine when I got it out. Sky HD is no good if you don't have the telly to back it up.

Exclamation

I saw all sorts of human interaction while out doing errands today, beginning with a woman picking up a board and hitting twice the guy she was following. I think she was shouting that he should give her the rent money. That's what it sounded like, but I was about a block and a half away.
