"Everything Louder Than Everything Else"- ML

I'm really hooked on that song lately for some reason.

Love that band. I'm a Savatage fan, and a lot of musicians on the TSO albums also play in Savatage - as Paul O'Neill is a major force behind TSO and Savatage's regular producer. Only two christmas albums I can stand :)
Patti rocks on "Beethoven's Last Night" too :)

Metallica - Battery

nice acoustic at the first,
then it goes all metal like, and if it sounds good, it is really sweeet.
in this case it does sound good. the vocals have meaning, i mean the lyrics have meaning.

i'm often being joked around, where i listen to real hard metal songs like this one, and then right after i'll put on Heaven Can Wait. I guess it is pretty funny going from a hard song to soft. as you can tell the two are very different, but are both really awesome tunes.

If you like that, I suggest you check out Opeth. Swedish metal band, who do such things in the span of one song. For instance, they kick off with a brutal metal part, and then drop into an acoustic interlude, to switch to some heavy growling metal afterwards... the singer is very capable of doing both the so called grunts (really low, growling kind of singing, sometimes reffered to as 'Cookie monster vocals') and clean vocals. Beautiful voice this guy has...
My recommandation would be either "Still Life" or "Blackwater Park".
