Am so not liking being in a big crowd in Sydney! Thank God for internet cafes where you can come and hide.

So pissed off about the Tour De France last night, what joker thought it'd be funny to throw tacks on the road, endangering so many people. 30 riders with punctures, Cadel 3 times!!

It was farcical but funny watching Cadel's teammate arriving at the summit with a puncture aswell!
Good sportsmanship, though, with the pack waiting for everyone to regroup.
I can't believe the British domination of the race - this isn't supposed to happen!
Tough day coming up on Wednesday.

They managed to get a little bit past the curfew before the plug was pulled.

At least I know my dog is still breathing, he has his nose smooshed into the side of his bed and is making a loud "Shhhhhhhhhh!" noise when he breathes

Considering peopel inside the venue were struggling to hear parts of the show (and we couldn't hear Soundgarden outside the venue the night before!), it's a wonder that anyone outside Could be upset by the noise generated by two legends of music performing on a Saturday evening.

But, apparently, this is England and we must all have an early night and not too much fun.

LOL, well I read about it in Dutch papers. I wonder how they're gonna handle the Olympics if this is a typical London saturday night.

Reading the story I couldn't help imagining the scene from the Blues Brothers, where the plug was pulled in that country bar

Went scuba diving yesterday, only in the pool. Going to have to take that up when I get home.

Driving back to the compund tonight, sw a bloke reverse down the motorway as he missed his junction. Only in Saudi!

Hoping we see more coverage of the equestrian during the olympics, televised here in Aus instead of lots of swimming!
