Is it not a proper sport because the likes of Namibia, Chile and Korea are higher than Germany in the World Rankings?

Grasping at straws perhaps but, if at the beginning of the world cup, England had been offered second place, hands would have been snatched off such were the chances of progression beyond the pool stages ... if at the beginning of his rookie season Lewis Hamilton would have been offered second place in the championship I'm sure he'd have jumped at the chance.

exactly!! to be totally fair, the only dissapointment sport wise was the dire performance our guys gave against Russia, as soon as that first goal was conceded, the heads started hanging and they seemed to just give up.

Lewis winning would've have been the perfect end for him but he has absolutely nothing to be hanging his head about, same goes for the rugby team they fought hard against all doubtors to show they deserved to be in that final, they have nothing to be ashamed of.

Both Lewis and the rugby team fought to the end still trying to win even when it seemed impossible, unfortunately i don't think we can say that about the footie team, who quite shamelessly seemed like they just couldnt be bothered once things started to go against them!

Just my opinion though as a fan of all 3 sports
