A friend of mine has also seen a longer version of the ad on tv, so now I wonder if that's the one Meat was talking about Vicki Edit : While I was typing this, the commercial popped up on my tv. LOL !! I still think it's funny Last edited by Vickip; 05 Jul 2009 at 17:46. |

Not much better than the short version. I'm sorry but I think it takes a little more than bunny slippers and a ridiculously big bottle to make a funny commercial. His facial expression is amusing but the commercial as a whole is stupid, in my opinion. I can laugh about Ozzy Osbourne's commercials, unfortunately I can't laugh about Meat's.

Big man, big bottle? Or maybe the meatloaf was so bad that it was only eatable with a lot of A1 sauce on it? Who would climb a ladder to pour sauce on one's meal?

He loves it so much he needed a giant-sized bottle of the stuff? Or he was amusing himself with the thought that it was so great he'd like a giant-sized bottle of the stuff?
Either way, what a strange, strange advert! And a strange concept ... it might make Meat Loaf sing ... will it make me sing? Or just Meat Loaf? In which case for people who don't like Meat (unbelievably they do exist!) that's not likely to tempt them to buy it now, is it? OR does it just create strange hallucinations about giant-sized bottles of the stuff...? in which case i'd never buy it! |

The advert doesn't do anything for me, so I'll have to disagree with CarylB. After a recent period where she wrote some good posts re the MJ thread, normality has been restored Dave |

i didn't think it was a huge laugh out loud thing...the slippers were slightly disturbing.
As for Ozzy, that recent ad bores me to tears, I remember when Ozzy was remembered for his music and not for whatever fame he is considered for now. |
