No but in between takes he kept singing to Ed Norton

"We're gonna go all the way tonight, we're gonna go all the way tonight's the night"

was there a dead ringer for Meat Loaf, actually singing Dead Ringer for Love on the album?

no, they tried to use one but the dead horse stank so much that they went with a dead singer instead. It's a little known fact that Elvis Presley contributed to the DR album in 81 that way.

why is Meat Loaf/meatloaf two words??

It's not, it's actually 8 words, all squashed together really close...

How many pairs of socks does Meat own?

He actually only owns 1 sock, wearing on his right foot for Monday, Tuesday, friday and Saturday and on the left for the rest of the week.

Is it true that Meat Loaf wants to be the first man to land on Mars?

It's false, this story originated in an interview the Guardian Arts section, in true Guardian style it was a typo, and referred to Meat's time shortly after leaving high school when (not knowing what he wnated to do with his life) he spent 18 months as a vegetable. A cauliflower to be precise.

Can Meat really play the banjo?

yes. infact he is the only person in the united states who can. That is the way he earns most of his money these days: Going around studios and arenas and playing everywhere an artist needs a banjo.

What 'couldnt he have said better himself'?

Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch

But then it was argued that he could indeed have said Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch better, and that's when the fight started betweem those who thought his saying of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch was shit, those who thought it was his most exciting Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch yet, and those who thought that this particular Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch would have been better written by another sign writter

Not to mention the people who want to know why he doesn't say Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch in public more often, and what it sounds like when he does.

Is it true that Meat has the banana phone ring tone on his mobile?

Anything but green ... he hates green and those who wear it.

Where does Meat throw the peel from an orange?

He doesn't.
He keeps it all to scare passing children with his Godfather impressions.

Why is there not more kazoo on Meat's recordings?

He actually did play Frank, in fact the role of Eddie was played by Tim Curry. They both had severe identity crisises after the time warp!

Why doesn't Meat fly coach?

Is it true that Meat Loaf really invented the lean mean grilling machine before they put George Foreman's name on it?

It's true that Meat invented it, whilst it looks like George Foreman's name it's actually Meats signature. All those fans who have the words "Meat Loaf" written in his handwriting don't actually have his autograph.

Does Meat really believe that nothing is taboo?

No he gave it to a homeless man outside the studio and also gave him £10 as a nice gesture.

That man spent that £10 on a 25/1 outsider in the 3.40 at york which romped home, wheeled and dealed a little and now has enough money to run as a candidate for the next mayor of London.

Is it true that it was really Meat Loaf who rescued the journalists in North Korea recently and not Bill Clinton?

It is indeed, when Meat's not cooking, recording, touring, twittering, acting or playing in celebrity golf tournaments he is the full complement of the US Navy SEALS.

Which would Meat prefer: A piece of the action, the future with a modern girl or it to quit?

I think given the recent videos on twitter he would prefer a piece of the action.

If you want to count action as rob cavallo's cooking that is.

Are the rumours true that Meat was due to star as Hell Boy instead of Ron Pearlman, but they were going to rename the character Bat Out Of Hell Boy?

Yes it was true but it is a bit of a stretch of the imaginagtion to refer to Meat as a 'Boy' and Bat out of Hell OAP doesn't have the same ring to it!

Is it true tha Meat is considering wearing the wig from the 3Bats tour permenantly in order to cover up his increasingly thinning hair?
