During the rehearsals of my primary school play I was fortunate enough to be one of three pupils to be plucked from the singing crowd. A lead role beckoned.
Nope. We were told to f**k off as our voices were shite. I was nine!
Can you believe it. A year group of 60 and 3 of of us were humiliated. As if the parents would really hear us?
Move on a few years and EXACTLY the same thing happened at my grammar school. However, this time I was allowed to remain in the choir and mime.
You may appreciate my reluctance to record a Meat Loaf song!!

Too many to name.

Probably 'Surfs Up'. To me it's one of the most perfect songs ever written. I would do it Rory Dodd style though. I prefer songs that are stripped down.
