Hi, Bart! Thanks for coming back again! That must be absolutely adorable to see a 4-year-old singing DIST!! I would LOVE to hear it sometime!! It's a shame she wasn't old enough yet to go to the concerts this year! But Meat has always loved performing in your country and in Germany, so I'm sure he will be back there for the occasional concert--since he's not doing World Tours, anymore!!

A big thank you for the nearly 330 kind folks who have stopped by here already to either verbally or silently wish Meat well today!! Hope you are all enjoying this thread and the things that everyone has added to it so far!! And more than that, I hope Meat is feeling the message!!

Thank you, Mariella! Yes, the waiting for news is getting more and more difficult. But at least we know Meat is in good and capable hands. And he's just gotten another day of rest with the next concert cancelled. So, that is good news for him! And that's why we're here doing this today, in hopes of helping him feel better or heal faster!!

I agree. Watching and listening to Meat always makes the time go faster!! I have a feeling that unless Meat's management comes through and gives a statement, we might have to wait another day for news. It's getting too late for anything to come out of the hospital and the folks there! So, come on, 10th Street, make our day!! What's the latest report??!!!

Continued thanks to the over 380 people who have stopped by this thread so far today and sent some love in Meat's direction! Hope to keep this going for several more hours!

Meat Loaf, when you read these I hope you realise how much we love you and want you to get better, there are so many songs that mean so much to me at different stages in my life but most of them are sung by you.

I have to admit, I've been working on this stuff all night and was starting to get a little sleepy. But your kind words perked me right up again and I'm good to go for a few more hours!

Let's see where we're at! Over 430 ML fans have taken a peek at this thread so far and hopefully, at the same time, have sent their personal wishes and healing thoughts to Meat! I think we're doing really good here, considering it was a workday!!

Got something special for you this time. I can't remember, but I may have shared this with you for another occasion, but it's something you hear so rarely that it's worth a second listen (or third, fourth...)

Mb thank you that you want to share this with us. This is a great thread.

My thougts goes out to the many fans who where there on monday. I can imagine that was very hard to see.

But this a possitive thread and I really hope that Meat is feeling better right now and takes care of his health. I know that how longer it takes before we'll get some news about Meat the more we'll get worried. But overhere we are saying "No news is good news" Let's hope for that. And we are all here together to make the waiting a little less harder.

hi i am back, just read the lovely poems and nearly burst in to tears again with all the lovely words,haven't looked at the special links yet
as i am just through the door, meat you have helped me in so many
ways,with my fight against asthma, i was playing you when i gave birth to my children, coming to see you spurred me on with my panic disorder,
( yeah MB, i finally got the courage to say it ) cos i knew i would
have to be in a big crowd in a field and travel, it scared the hell out of
me just thinking it, but i managed because i wanted to fetch my daughter
to see you, and i managed it, seeing you their on the stage i sobbed like
an idiot,as i hadn't thought i would ever get to see you in a live show
again, and meat you were brilliant.
when you collapsed in Berlin was bad enough, but we knew soon after
you were okay.
monday i didn't sleep all night, tuesday i was playing forever young, burst
in to tears, and when it came on that you where taken in an ambulance that was it, so please meat their are countless people with stories like
mine and you are so special to each and everyone of us that you wouldn't belive it, you don't need to worry about our loyalty, you have been my
one and only hero for 23 years and wether people are new fans or old
fans they love you forever and a day.

No, Kezzina! There WAS an update on the OIFC, as promised. They said that Meat is still in the hospital having more tests done. That the concert tonight was cancelled (we already knew that) and no further decisions had been made about the rest of the tour. That was it! That was their update!

Talk about being vague!! Well, we're keeping positive here!!! That's the only way to go right now!!

So frustrating to live in the US...so far away with no updates!!! I hope Meat is out of the hospital soon, hopefully knowing how much everbody here loves him will cheer him up some!! It's so nice to know that he has the support of so many!!! And people that I know say nobody loves Meat but me!! The big man will not stay down, he will rise again...and maybe tour some more in the US...and maybe in NC, where I live. I can always dream!! I stink at poetry, so I can't come up with a poem.
