Honestly, you f*cukers make me sick. Do you not release the fact that you completely ruined some other Meat Loaf fan's night? They didn't pay £30 to watch your fat ass all night.

Are you serious

ewww errrrrrr .......

Well at every one of the 17 shows I saw this tour meat wanted the audience up In fact he refused to come on at the nec until they did

Well let's look at the facts shall we?

You're shorter than me.....
You were at the shows in question
You were stood next to me
and
you do talk lot........ need I go on? Do you need to phone a friend?

Of course while we're talking about tickets there's the story of the time on the Blind Before I Stop tour when me and a couple of friends sneaked into Newcastle City Hall very ealry and heard and saw the sound check..... Meat hates anyone (who's not crew) being around for the soundcheck apparently, so we kept a very low profile at teh back of the balcony, heard Meat and the band warming up and then they launched into the BEST version of Robert Palmers Addicted To Love I have ever heard.... just wish they'd done it live! That was the same night that during the show, Meat stopped using his mic in Paradise, and got everyone to stop singing along while he finished the song completely unplugged.... another friend was at the back of the balcony (I was in about the 6th row I think) and he said uyou could hear Meat clearly without any amplification!!!

You sound like my friends dads girlfriend she was going mad at this fat person in front who wouldn't stop moving his ass and she was standing thats why we made sure we got the aisle seats so we could get out and see what was happening.

that's a great story! I would love to hear them do Addicted to Love. That was a while ago..... I wonder what songs they warm up to now? Meat should put out a CD of Warm-Up Songs

I found the original Cleveland ticket story, was going to edit and shrink it down but I'm just going to put the whole thing, sorry it's long and a little over-the-top :) but I was pretty excited when I wrote it.
-----------------------------
20 Sept. 2003
I live in Columbus, Ohio, but since I am a newly-minted fan (hadn't ever seen him live) and this was maybe going to be my last chance, I got tickets to both Ohio shows. Yesterday I drove to Cleveland in the early afternoon, saw the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, scouted out where the concert parking was, and then checked into my hotel room. I was thinking I had plenty of time to doll myself up a little, get something to eat and then go to the show. This was 4:30 p.m., and it was when I realized ............... I had left my concert tickets at home in Columbus. I cried for a minute like a little kid, then I got my car and drove home as fast as I could (it was rush hour). Got home at 7:30, grabbed the tickets and my buddy to keep me company and was back on the road in 8 minutes. Traffic was light by now so we flew. Going 75 in a 55 thru orange barrels, leaving the radio off so I could focus on my driving, thinking "I can do this," running on adrenaline the whole way. Saw several cars pulled over getting tickets but we held our breath and sailed on by. Finally we blew into Cleveland and as we got out of the car, heard Meat Loaf's distinctive "WOO!" coming through an amplifier to thunderous applause. It was dark and we couldn't find the entrance to the amphitheater, and we were stopped by two guys at a metal gate who said "It's over! He's doing the last song right now. The entrance is back there, way up and around, but they won't let you in anyway. The show's over, folks." We went up and around anyway and then we were stopped by three security guys, who wouldn't even look at our 3rd row, center section tickets! I'm trying to explain why we're so late, but they're still saying, "No, no exceptions" while Meat Loaf and the band are booming out "Paradise" just out of sight. Finally I pleaded with the older security guy, "I just want to SEE him, even if it's only for 30 seconds, oh please!" And he said "OK, go on" which surprised the other two, and we hurried in. At this point Meat was going "Shut up" "No, you shut up" with Patti. We worked our way down to where our seats would have been, only on the left side. We were CLOSE and it was just so cool! Meat sounds amazing in person - he just belts out the song with that wonderful voice of his; you can feel it in the pit of your stomach. They did Bat Out of Hell next, and drew it out into a long, super performance, then ended with the patriotic Living in America. Confetti rained on our heads. The audience was happy, loud and appreciative. Meat does these neat things, like reaching out one arm to the audience and making a grabbing motion, like he's pulling the audience toward him. And I love it when he strides across the stage, gazing intently out at us - made my knees feel weak! At one point he leaned back against something while the band played, and with a grin on his face, moved his legs in rhythm to the music, obviously feeling pretty good (and looking pretty good, too). I really loved it when he punched hard up at the sky with his right arm, so hard it jarred his whole body - he did that several times - it was powerful and electrifying. And I learned something! He does like it when the audience stands and cheers! I wasn't sure of the etiquette, but it's very clear what Meat likes — he likes you to get up and let him know you're happy! At one point he raised up both arms and motioned with his hands to the audience, as if to say, "Come on, give it up for me, come on." The audience went wild and I yelled myself hoarse; I would have given him anything.

On the way out we bought t-shirts, autographed CD's, key chains, and cute little white teddy bears wearing Meat Loaf t-shirts.

So, if you were to ask me was it worth driving six hundred miles, half of that like a true Bat Out of Hell, to see two-and-a-fraction songs? My answer would be:
YES!!! YES!!! YES!!!

THANK YOU, MEAT!

Love, Kathy

Patricia - let them put the picture of you and the Swiss teddy up, it's a good picture!!

I won't post in exchange for an autograph - your signature at the bottom of a blank cheque should do the job!!!

Funny Story
========

At the Live in The Neighbourhood tour, in Manchester ont he final date, I was hurrying down the stairs to the arena floor when some idiot tripped me up, i fell the last dozen steps and in the process, threw my drinks over the guy at the bottom of the steps. He was not impressed.

Anyay, we were about 3 rows back and I said i couldn't see when this woman in the front row turned round and said I could sit next to them as she had a spare ticket!! So i spen the concert stood next to the guy who I had just tried to drown!!

I also got spotted by a customer of mine on the current tour who was a few rows behind me and now wants to know who I was acting Paradise to as it wasn't my girlfriend!!

And I have a very funny story about being at manchester and meeting certain fans but there is no way in hell that story is going on here!!!

Oh go ON chris you know you want to tell it... if not we'll just have to make something up..... which can only be worse

At the second manchester show in December last year I was spotted in the front row, by a friend at work who was sat as far away fom the stage, whilst still being in the MEN, as you can possibly get.

I seem to remember you and Heat spotted me too from a similar distance

Well, if you were sitting behind me and Eva on the left-side of the stage on the 22nd you can be pretty sure it was one of our ****** blocking your view on the front row (as we were the only two standing on that side!) ...THAT was a special concert...and don't need to tell everyone Why - we Know!

...threw lots of things on stage, both nights..but NO - the bra wasn't mine either
