What ever happened to the new website?
Anymore information?
I see they are still not accepting new members. It's a shame Meat doesn't have a better official site if you ask me. I still think it should be free. |

Meat should definitely have a better official website, it definitely should be free!!!
the old official website was amazing, it was a great shame that Vee sadly wasnt able to keep it running and then since has sadly passed away. That site was great. There should definitely be something done about the offical site! |

am i right in thinking the different ticket types are only of use to you if you go to a concert on your own. If I was to go to a concert with my dad id have to pay 400USD each for the platinum tix with M+G

What do you get for the $400.00 ticket package?
Do .net members get it cheaper? Somebody mentioned a meet and greet, do you have to pay for it? Are there cheaper meet and greet packages? I'm disabled have already got a ticket and any priority seating I can't use 'cos they all stand up! No view! Thinking about it I couldn't access the meet and greet unless we both paid ($800). I can get a weekend hotel break for that! Mike |

Anyone buying?
Whoever came up with that is not helping his image, the thing people respected him for was that he did it for free to anyone regardless of whether they could pay or not. Very few of us have that sort of money to spare. In my view they should have offered the package and said as an added bonus Meat had agreed to do a meet and greet / photo for those people. A subtle difference but - sell the package as an entity don't make him look like a (rock n'roll) mercenary! These advertising people have no idea the resentment this will create for genuine fans who want to meet him and now know they probably never will unless they pay, this presumably will be the format for Bat III as well? This is like the smoked salmon sandwich brigade at soccer, no interest in Meat, if it's Sunday it must be Harewood and oh! Meat Loaf is there, let's enjoy the drinks never mind about the concert! I'm sad for Meat this puts him in a very bad light when he probably had nothing to do with it, why don't they ask the fans? Mike |

Meet & Greet costs
This ticket site offers packages that include vip passes, dont know if that means a m&g is included?
http://www.getlive.co.uk/experience/hidden/meatloaf.asp It is a shame that money is a factor that results in only 'special ticket holders' to meet the main man. However I dont know of any artist that you can meet at the concert with a 'standard' ticket. They would just be mobbed! As for $400 thats about £207pp. Considering the price of a vip ticket on ticketmaster for liverpool is £172pp I wouldnt say that its to bad for all the extra benefits you get compared to ticketmaster vip price. There should be a better way we could meet him, Im sure like many other fans that I would queue for hours to meet him if the chance 2 do so was there. That would be a fair way for everybody. Also does any1 know if ticketmaster planning on selling tickets via the fan club as it has a: Fan club meat loaf ticket listed (although its not active to buy just yet) ??? |

getlive is the same as the Liverpool POPs VIP tickets. They include meals etc and good seats but no meet and greet. You only get a M+G through meat loaf.net
