I would say. Carla and Ellen. Ellen did the backing vocals on paradise/ Took the words. her voice is very special on it. Paradise belongs to her.
carla did the video and she got a hell of a charisma! and because of the video paradise was a big hit. So meat would not be the same without these ladies. To me Russo is just a backing singer whow did not help meat to the place where he is today. |

I would never dispute that Ellen and Karla played very important roles in the success of Bat I and Karla certainly had a fantastic on-stage presence. I respect your right to choose them as your favourite ladies Bart, but calling Patti "just a backing singer" is so wrong, cruel and unfair. She is far, far more than that as she has proved not only on stage with Meat but also in leading roles as Esmeralda in Notre Dame de Paris in the West End and more recently as The Killer Queen in the highly successful We Will Rock You in Las Vegas ... and I believe she will be returning to that role when the current tour is over with Meat. She is not only magnificent on stage with Meat but also so kind and generous with her time with fans after the shows ... a truly lovely lady.
All the above ladies are very talented in their own right, all are actresses as well as singers and they are all so much more than "just backing singers". Hats off to Meat for spotting such fine talent to support him on record and stage. Diane |

The question was this:
ok so which of the following woman would you say was or is the woman who has steered Meat Loaf in the right direction had the better voice , was the other half and got Meat were he is now: I did not mean to be cruel, I just answerd the question. In meaning of making history she is less important than the other two. Russo did 2 duets with Meat. The first one was a small hit and the other one was not. Nobody knows her. But everybody still know the name of Ellen and Carla. |

I think that's not fair.
Not each person can make history. If you look to policy, there are many idiots which haven't earned it to make history and they do it Sometimes the persons you don't hear anything are the greatest. After your theory, each singer of a the f.... summersongs must be good singers, because you listen their damn songs everywhere macrapper |

Patti, easily hands down the best. She's can sing amazingly, and just stands out from the rest. She's the most at ease with Meat i think and vice versa.
