Most of you know me as a lurker going back to the Loafdom list, but I thought I'd come out of lurkdom here and say hi. Yeah, I'm a chickee :) and been a fan for about 10 years now.

I download only to listen to meat on the computer whilst i'm working.
wouldn't dream of not actually obtaining the single, I collect copies in all formats picture discs, etc and hope that everyone out actually buys the single somehow - somewhere. Did you say that DIST isn't going to be ?released in the U.K.?

Well - if you buy the single, i think the easiest way for you to listen to it would be to simply play the cd using your comp's cdrom device.

Exactly.

One more thing, please try to post on topic of a particular thread.
This thread deals with new members and your reply about downloads certainly isn't on topic and thus 'hijacking' this thread.

Hi Mariella!

I'm Vicki, 41 years old, and I've only been a fan for about 3 years too I didn't know who Meat was until Storytellers ... I saw the CD sitting on the shelf in the local record store (here in the US) and just decided to buy it Once I listened to it, and saw him and Patti sing Paradise on the show I was hooked !! I agree with you - he's definitely a great performer and brilliant actor. I loved how he portrayed Sheriff Dogget in Crazy in Alabama !

I was lucky enough to see him 7 times while he was on tour this past summer (4 times in September and 3 in December), and meet him briefly after one of the shows in Florida. I can't wait until he tours the US so I can see him again
