Sorry guys, Patti has to be my least favorite of the bunch. She isn't bad, but I prefer the others. |

Lorraine Crosby's voice is the best for me. Absolutely fantastic, why did Steinman not work more with her? (Did she do the demo of IDAFL before Bat 2??). I like her more than Elaine Caswell, who would be my second favuorite Stein-chick.
I love Ellen Foley too. Night out is a fantastic album and she's such a fantastic actress. Wolf w/ the red Roses bit. So good. And the Want Ad. And then we come to the Live performers... I really haven't been that fond of any of them to be honest . I can not STAND Karla DeVito's voice. Listening to the various live in 78 recordings I've gathered... she is a pony of a severely diminished number of tricks. Likewise I hate the sound of those two sisters meat sung with in the late 80s. Oooooh they're probably even worse to my ear. Patti is alrite, and good on stage. I don't love her voice, but she's good on stage. CC was better tho . Not that I could hear her voice even a little bit on the nite. But one gets the impression that's not what her most important role on stage was . Who on earth sang 45 seconds of ecstasy? I like the sound of her voice too, not that its overly strained on such a pedestrian little ditty tho... |

Amy & Elaine Goff were pretty good back in the '80s. It was amazing looking at Meat singing Paradise with Amy - the size difference between them was immense! lol!
And talk about being sexy.... But for the voice, it has to be Patti. |

I´ve seen namely two or three clips of them, but I can say that I still feel the pain in my ears. There was a clip of Modern Girl somewhere, and they sang the backing line "gimme the future" as bad as possible,...ouch! |

Patti. She has an incredible voice, and her & Meat perform so well together. Although I guess I'm a little biased because she's the only one I've seen live.
