Tesla on Friday night.
I must say though. After coming off of 3 straight Meat shows, the Tesla concert was disappointing. The band and music was good but it wasn't Meat! It is going to take an awesome concert that blows my mind to top the past week of Meat's shows!! |

Elton John last night- excellent show! I'd forgotten what a beautiful song "Candle in the Wind" is. "Rocket Man" had a stunning new arrangement, and "Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters" and "The One" were both sublime.

Well, not sure if it counts but I just discovered the 'Friday' show from Queen on Wembley in 1986. On a very rainy evening.
Watched it last night and must say that it was great. Not as well recorded as the well known Saturday show but Queen itself was better. Fantastic concert! |

Meat's Oct. 27, 2012 MMWT Mohegan Sun Arena. I managed to score M&G tickets and got front row seats. It was an awesome show! I told him his Native American name should be, SingingWolf NeverShutsUp. He insisted on the NeverShutsUp part... lol. He told me he could drive me insane, because he can't stop talking. I told him that he couldn't possibly make me nutty and then he replied that I've never been with him on a three hour car ride... lol.
I was so bummed, when he said, he wasn't touring anymore. |

I saw Bon Jovi this Saturday. I initially wasn't planning to go at all, but I had a change of heart at the last minute and got crappy seats for $30 two hours before the show. He played far too much of his newer stuff (which doesn't hold a candle to anything before Crush, imo), but the performance itself was really, really good. The stage was awesome, too. Very well done
Kicking myself for not going the second night, though. They got Dry County and These Days My favourite part was when he tried to get the crowd to sing along to Because We Can with just his acoustic, and everyone just awkwardly clapped and laughed because no one knew the song |

I saw Keith Urban last Friday night- excellent show as usual!
He's worked in a good number of songs from his latest album, "Fuse", since I saw him last August, including the first live performance of "Somewhere in My Car":

Last night I saw Imelda May and she was just as good as I remember she was when I saw her a couple of years ago. Her vocals were fantastic and she had so much energy and passion into the songs.
