My last movie? The Number 23. I quite like Jim Carrey in a serious role, but it's difficult to take him entirely seriously... |

I dont think it has to btw, the quality is far superior to the DVD. If it had been any better I would've wondered about the quality all the time, instead of enjoying the movie. Apparently Universal is re-releasing the movie later this year, newly mastered from the original reels, to conicide with the blu ray release of Robin Hood. |

Surely a film released around 2000 doesn't need remastering? Will probably have to buy that as well though
Anyhow, just watched Saw 6. Big improvement on 4 and 5. Much more like it! |

you can get it quite cheap at the moment, paid 11€ for the two disc version, it's getting so cheap as everyone's waiting to buy the new version.

I thought that one was brilliant! A truly horrifying movie that didnt rely on guts or jump scares but really built tension and fear througout the whole movie.
Check out Rogue, another australian croc movie from the same year. Completely different, more hollywood-friendly approach, but an interesting watch as well. |

i really thought i would think it was too ... i'm no tom cruise fan ... erk ... but i like Dakota Fanning child actress... saw her in Sam I Am ... and thought... "ooo ... let's give it a try" ... and yeah ... i found it pretty creepy... those probes going about in the basement (... oh... hehe... i think i said that before... ) ... anyroad... hehe... saw it on the small screen and paid naught extra ... lol ... i think it played to the child i was who loved going to monster movies and being scared near to death ... and perhaps it didn't take much... lol ...

The whole thing left a bit of a bad taste though, when I read this story about the writer/director of the movie. |
