I'm trying to decide what to wear to Nottingham and the outfit I thought I might wear doesn't go with the sparkly jacket.

Aaaargh, why is picking an outfit so difficult?

You have to go with the sparkly jacket. That is your look...

Well I got the idea from Meat's jackets so I can't take full credit for the 'sparkly' thing. I wore the jacket to both Birmingham and Cardiff M&G's so I guess it could be my 'thing' too.

Meat complimented the jacket so I guess it can't have been that bad although I think the jacket may have to go into retirement after Nottingham.

Watching Star Trek again made me realise how bloody often JJ Abrahms uses lens flares. I really hope we don't get that with Star Wars. Almost every scene. Crazy. Decent film though.

Figured I'd try something different and bought a half decent accordion off eBay, half hoping that it won't be hard to pick up as a pianist. En route direct from the Ukraine to Melbourne and will arrive to my ravishing somewhere between Thursday next week and the following Wednesday

Right hand is easy if you are a pianist. The bass bit really takes some getting use to I found and then of course considerations for enough air. It's like learning a complete new instrument but having a major advantage from the go I guess.

Patti Russo's These Arms.. get me through the night. Her voice is haunting and beautiful on this track. Got struck by her appearance that night in Charlottetown in 2011 but her charm is her charm, won't do you no harm.
