It was far too hot to have been at work today.

Who goes shopping on a day like this anyway?

Admittedly, there wasn't all that many people shopping for books today but there was quite a few people wandering around.

If I hadn't have had to have worked today, I'd have had a lazy day in the garden drinking mocktails. I certainly wouldn't have wanted to have spent it wandering around hot and stuffy shops.

My theory is you should only go shopping if you actually need something.
I may be shot down in flames by certain quarters.

Anyone see Cheryl Fergison as Meat Loaf on ITV? God love her, it was so obviously planned but she pulled it off amazingly!

Wink Al Gore is right ...

Seems it's going to be unbearably hot again into the upcoming week ... Imo ... this ... so far... has been one of the muggiest Summers I can remember... It seems... Summer was announced and a hot, wet blanket went over Phillytown ... We've only had a few non-humid days ... Oh well... at least I'm alive to suffer it all ... hahahaaa ... xo

What a shame I don't live near a beach.

Oh well, I'll make do with a paddling pool for now.

Wasn't sure if I should LIKE or dislike this post. LOL. LIKE it cause I definitely agree that it has been a muggy and unbearably hot summer. Dislike cause I totally hate the extremely hot humid weather. Need to move to a less humid climate, like Florida or The Carolinas or the West Coast. We will just keep suffering thru it I guess.

Florida less humid than Boston? (unless you're being sarcastic)

Not sure why I ended my self-imposed ban on using the 'like' button?
But, I'm glad I did and admit that I was utterly wrong about its possible back-firing repercussions.
I 'like' myself for it.
Just need to read the user manual for the 'dislike' key.
