THE LAST EXORCISM

Good flick - lotsa Exorcist/Rosemary's Baby influence. Not very scary but it was creepy. Enjoyed it.

Law Abiding Citizen, I think it's called ~ starring Jamie Fox and Gerard Butler. Some scenes were filmed a block from my day job office.

Salt: Two hours of action and Angelina Jolie kicking arse and looking fine while doing it. If there was anything else in the film I didn't notice...

Duel, Spielberg's first.
Still pretty damn awesome and shows you can make a film without a huge budget or effects and still be extremely compelling. Has to be in my top 10 films of the 70s easily.

Being from Northern Germany, I never thought I'd say this but I have to praise Bavarian television. Two days ago they had a great evening program:

1) Help! - Silly but funny Beatles flick. The TV guide had announced a "new dubbing" but it turned out that it was the original, English version with German subtitles.
2) Stones in Exile
3) Gimme Shelter
4) Blow-Up

So I got to see two good movies and two interesting documentaries. Beatles, Stones and Michelangelo Antonioni. German TV hasn't gone to the dogs yet.

A masterpiece, one of the first movies I started my DVD collection with.

My most recent one too. Nope, I think that was about it, but that's more than enough for me Actually, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Very entertaining, some surprising bits, and Jolie was AWESOME. The 2 main blokes were also very good as always.

I really like that one - Roger Moore almost takes it seriously. Topol is also brilliant.

Only major downers are that he really needs a haircut, and why so many cardigans?

Sick but brilliant!!! The great old action movie stars meeting the new ones and they´re kicking ass BIG TIME!!!! Approximately 15 minutes of dialogues and the rest is well packed with fines fight scenes, guns and lots of explosions lol

I also saw "The Fourth Kind" it's based on the true account of a town iin Alaska(it's Nome in the movie, but not sure if it's actually it or not, for real) where people have literally vanished over the yrs and no one knows why or how. This movie is weird to watch in spots due to several small screens being used at the sametime. What's interestingl about the movie is what is insinuated happened to these people.

Also saw "The Stepson", your average thriller. :)

Colin Farrell is Irish and all but to me he's very overrated even in the film Phonebooth.. his first successful movie. Never thought he was any good to be honest. Gabriel Byrne now there's a great actor. The last film I seen was Saw 5, and I thought it was the greastest load of rubbish.

Loved the Fourth Kind on first cinema viewing. Thought it was very scary, much more so than Paranormal Activity.

Resident Evil

Not bad. Didn't like the monster they had at the end but decent video game spin off I'd say.
