well, imagine my surprise in the music aisle in tescos, a bay for lps

and the 180g bat out of hell was in it (unpriced unfortunately)

but i never expected to walk into a tescos and be able to purchase bat on vinyl
so that was pretty cool

a very pretty city, I enjoyed it.

although the guinness wasn't great, I simply had to try one, and it took a lot of searching to find a bar that sold it!

In my experience not really... But that's based on work trips involving airport, taxi or hire car, La Peripherique, suburban hotel, industrial estate, meetings, taxi or hire car, La Peripherique, and airport. So I could be biased.

It was, like 10 years or so ago. Now it's hard to enjoy it because of the heavy security.
I remember it was easy to walk aroud the Eiffel tower and enjoy the park. Now it's impossible to go there without passing gates and security checks etc.

One thing that hasn't changed though... the waiters are fckng rude.

I did notice a lot of armed police and army about, I even commented as soon as I arrived it was like being back in Belfast in the early 90's... but because I grew up with that, I can honestly say that it didn't bother me, just felt normal.

On other thoughts, I'm not very good at drone flying, I managed to crash the drone 3 times on it's first flight, and on the 2nd flight disaster... crash landed in a neighbours garden.

But I am very impressed with me little B&O speaker, I'm not a particularly a fan of wireless speakers, but this is getting its first test with some live Foy and I'm actually genuinely impressed how good the sound is from something so compact (and streamed).

A good purchase!

I've read bits of it, not all.

(Too busy finishing Adrian Newey's book)

But as with most things Brexit related, I trust the interpretations and understandings of Dr Richard North, a much more knowledgeable person than I.

First ever stay in Dublin over the weekend.
The Irish are so much friendlier than us Brits.

Very much so.
Early part Saturday was spent strolling and refuelling around the city and then took in the rugger at Lansdowne Road.
Finally retired half an hour before the first breakfast croissant was available.
So ticked all stag do boxes!
