I was interested to read this morning in an article titled Oxford vaccine regulatory authorisation: FAQ
"This efficacy result is based on data from younger (18–55 years old) adults – how do you know that it is safe for older adults? The MHRA have approved this vaccine and have come to the conclusion that the dosing schedule can remain the same for these groups, we know further results are due in the next couple of months and will build on existing knowledge for older adults." Link for the above.. https://www.research.ox.ac.uk/Articl...regulatory-faq Which had me wondering what have the MHRA published about this? So a quick visit to the government website revealed the following... "Elderly population Efficacy and safety data are currently limited in individuals ≥65 years of age (see sections 4.8 and 5.1). No dosage adjustment is required. Paediatric population The safety and efficacy of COVID-19 Vaccine AstraZeneca in children and adolescents (aged <18 years old) have not yet been established. No data are available." and demographics quoted as... "Baseline demographics were well balanced across COVID-19 Vaccine AstraZeneca and control treatment groups. Overall, among the participants who received COVID-19 Vaccine AstraZeneca, 94.1% of participants were 18 to 64 years old (with 5.9% aged 65 or older); 60.7% of subjects were female; 82.8% were White, 4.6% were Asian, and 4.4% were Black. A total of 2,070 (35.6%) participants had at least one pre-existing comorbidity (defined as a BMI ≥30 kg/m2, cardiovascular disorder, respiratory disease or diabetes). The median follow-up time post-dose 1 and post-dose 2 was 132 days and 63 days, respectively." Full link to the above information... https://www.gov.uk/government/public...ne-astrazeneca And yet the government is rolling this out first to the elderly and vulnerable? Seems to me, this roll out is going to be the largest, virtually untested drug trial in the history of the UK |

And three more things...
1, I'm glad I decided to just copy and paste most of the above, or I'd still be typing it out in an hours time. 2, Whomever typed/published the Oxford FAQ above should've used a computer with a working space key. 3, More lock down lunacy for all. ![]() |

I only found the Northern Ireland daily, and cumulative Covid-19 stats today.
And page 4, the Covid-19 Testing Overview really concerns me. It very kindly releases separate pillar 1, pillar 2 and finally combined test statistics And the positive test rate for pillar 2 is Considerably, Exponentially higher than for pillar 1 tests. I might actually (for the first time ever) have to write to an MP to seek some answers. |

I couldn't believe the total deaths registered chart (for England and Wales) when I looked at it today... There has been a massive spike in deaths recorded in England and Wales this last few weeks. The jump on the chart was so big, I didn't believe it, and looked up the figures myself on the ONS. Between beginning of September and 1st of January the total weekly deaths recorded in England and Wales have fluctuated between 8k to 13k per week...
December to January figures 04/12/20 12,303 11/12/20 12,292 18/12/20 13,011 25/12/20 11,520 01/01/21 10,069 And then the total death rate goes nuts 08/01/21 17,751 15/01/21 18,042 22/01/01 18,676 Data sources.. https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulat...nglandandwales What has caused the massive spike in deaths? Why is it affecting the elderly more in January than December? And why haven't the media investigated? |

I wonder will the vaccines end up killing more people than the virus did.

We've pretty much got to the end of the tractor negotiations, so it's either gonna happen in the next couple of weeks, or never..
Another reason to apply old school drinking and thinking methods |

That’s been over 6 months virtually booze free, I’ve impressed myself!
And the tractor story is getting more and more into the realms of what’s the chances of that... Firstly, finding it Secondly, lady at the dealership still working there, and able to confirm it as the one supplied to my uncle. Thirdly, The former training manager at the factory, who had to reconcile details of over 600 tractors at the time of the factory closure, has details of only one tractor the same model as mine... and it’s my one. Fourthly and finally, I bought a panel on eBay, which when I contacted the seller about sourcing other panels, turns out he used to work at the dealership that supplied my tractor, and he even remembered it. It’s almost as if it was destiny! |

I can't spell anymore, and my handwriting is getting worse.
But on the bright side, I've placed my first large tractor parts order. Lots of new bits on the way. |
