Not sure, but it looked like the beginning of song missed a bit (compared to the radio edit). Tho I might be wrong :P

Yes, it wasn't the whole song. BUT it was live and done fantastic!
Very good for my eyes and ears, made me go back to Amsterdam, wednesday. Magic!!

Cloggy, could you please check that time? I think it's on at 22.30 UK-time.
But that is always very confusing for me.

Grrrrrrrrr! I'm on the durn old computers at work and they don't have enough memory to run the BBC news! I'll have to hold out for a few hours until I get home.
Actually, it the best of both worlds for Meat NOT to get arrested- he gets the publicity from the bus and is still able to sell a load of CD's by being free to do the signing at Virgin Megastore. If he were being arrested, he would likely miss out on the signing.

D'oh! I can't watch it. For some reason my computer doesn't like Real PLayer. Is there ANY chance of someone converting it into mpg. and posting it somewhere for download? Any help would be appreciated.

I was just checking this link and it seems the latest news is there now. As far as I know without Meat.

Did anyone see the latest edition of the BBC 1 London news this evening?

Meat is still not on the playlist for BBC local radio .. however I have found the name of the bloke in London who makes these decisions. So .. let's do some polite and non-hostile lobbying ..

We're requesting our local station to play Meat Loaf's new song CHSIB, as performed on TOTP tonight, but it isn't on the playlist for local radio. This is arguably his best song since Anything For Love, and that was quite popular!! It's written by James Michael and Nikki Sixx .. is bang up to date and delivered impeccably, and is the title track from an album that's debuted at No 2 in the charts .. Meat appeals to people from 7 to 70 so he must fit their demographics .. so please, please will Andy add it to the playlist for BBC Local radio

You can email claier.jago@emap.com and mark it for the attention of Andy Roberts .. and perhaps include the url for Jen's e-card so he can see and hear just how good it is for himself

http://www.meatloaf-multimedia.com/CHSIB/ecard1.html

After all .. we can't expect Meat to phone in every station every day to get it played ..

Hi Fire Ball & all

I was there & gotta say it was excellent!!!! Meat & rest of band rocked Oxford street.........

& Nope he didnt get arrested, but not for want of trying lol..

They all got soaked but played on anyway.. Patti renamed song to "I couldn't of said it wetter myself"

I've never seen so many people at a signing so it definitely did the trick. Meat was on top form singing & chatting his way through it..

I've only just got in & am really tired so will try to update this if know one else does

I also got the whole thing on camcorder, so i'll post it if I can find webspace

Thanx Meat for a really great evening

Meat, you never cease to amaze me!

How did you power your equipment (eg amplifiers, guitars etc), or did you do it totally acoustically?

How about surprising the record company with a performance right outside their building? Or how about in the middle of a busy street? You'd have to get arrested then!

Default So cool

Gee, wish I was in London to witness this. Perhaps the same stunt could be performed down on the Auckland waterfront with MEAT singing from a superyacht!!

Can't wait to see the link of the performance.
