Really quick post here as the long weekend i've just had starting from thurs and ending asbout an hr ago has left me feeling like death lol.
What an amazing weekend though  It was great to spend it in such great company as all of you  Dave, Steph, Susi, Andy, Lucy!, Michelle, Stu, M, Anji and Emma (samcat) (in order of meeting up lol) It was really cool to get to send so much time with you all. Also great to breifly see Sarah again  Sorry it wasn't for longer (actually come to think of it, it just may be your fault I feel so ill lol) Luce the party hat pics are really cool of us all But i'll send you them first. Also the other pic i'm sure you're REALLY waiting for  Michelle, you were the entertainment for us all on saturday day time lol. Stu, your medals in the post A couple of the things I learned (apart from the ones Michelle posted  ).... Stu is always wrong.... Buy wine bottles with screw tops.... .... I'll skip the rest to protect a few The SAS band are amazing! It's like one big party from start to finish. I enjoyed every moment, although some more than others Those that have posted before me have said everything there is to say really, glad I wasn't first to post lol. Apart from Patti the highlight for me was Jeff Scott Soto singing Stevie Wonders Superstition. Actually just about anything he sang was a highlight for me lol. That man has The X Factor (Pics of me and Lucy with him to follow  )Another unexpected highlight for me was Madeline Bell, she truly is a wonderful person. Her smile is infectious and she has an amazing voice and stage presence. There wasn't one ego on that stage. Patti Russo is a true star in everyway possible. One of the most generous human beings there is. I think it was Lucy that said about her presence being second to none etc... I second that, I was totally in awe of Patti on stage. She is a true pro and a very kind generous person towards every person on that stage and everyone of them adored her. There was many magic moments up there It brought many a lump to my throat to see them all genuinely care about each other. To see the likes of Madeline Bell and Jeff Scott Soto backing Patti was very cool indeed Patti looked and sounded amazing. Nothing new there though lol. I agree with everyone who's said it reminds them there is something missing now, but then I knew that from day one  I have tons of pictures and videos of just about every moment Patti was on stage, that i'll get online asap. Some of you may get them in the post long before I get them online though lol. hmmm for a short post i've waffled a bit here. Deb |
