Don't direct him to what he might want to take off YouTube! Now that's an awesome performance.

It just worked really well and I love what you said about the band. Of the youtubes i've seen so far, this is the best live show you've done in a long time. It stands out. 99% of people say your show was the best they've seen. Why not continue the tour at your own pace, without burning out, and give people the chance to see it and feel good that your putting on a show that everyone thinks is exhilarating to watch?
I agree again, but then when I get sick and I cancel. I get, we spent all this money to get there and he didn't play. When I do go on sick(like amsterdam in on 07, with 4, count them 4 doctors in the dressing room telling me 15 mins before the show that I am in no condition to go on stage but I do so as to not to let the people down. Then the show is just awful and the people say oh it's over for him I can't believe I spent money on that. Meat loaf sucks. Then I went back and got sick the morning of the show and another bad show. Now I can't go play in holland because the promoters won't bring me in to play. With my weakness being my chest and lungs. I can't take giving so much grief to so many people. Much less myself. Yes, the 13 shows we have done this summer have been the best we have done since early 1993. The show and band are perfect. I am much better as well. At some point I have to weigh plus and the minus , to me the minus out weighs the positive. The fans are the most important and I wear my heart on my sleeve , just in case you haven't noticed
Shows for UK are on sale 1st week in Sept.
Hope some off you come.

Newcastle: To try and make it up , we are selling tickets 2 for 1 .. I am playing to just cover expenses. Do you think that is enough?

I thought that was really good, best performance of LA I've heard so far.
The extra percussion worked well on the song too.

Loved the "title was from the worst movie ever made" comment. Lol

When people see you at your best, the minus is forgotten instantly. You set the bar so high that it's perhaps impossible to reach 100% of the time but that's also a credit to how great you can be.

I thought it rocked too It needed the full band, and it reminded me of hearng it live in the show, which was great. The sound quality of the clip isn't good (although thanks for putting it up Warrio as I coudn't watch it live), but as so many people state so clearly that they can ignore that, what the hell .. and I love Los Angeloser.

Wasn't flat .. and you're lookng good!

Ain't that the truth! Bring it on Meat .. you're back, you're sounding great, you rock!

The show I've seen this tour was indeed perfect. I understand you don't need grief and hassle, nor do you deserve it. Still think you bring so much to so many at so many concerts it's worth it, because you're on such incredible form, but that's just me being selfish .. I've never left a show feeling let down in any way, have always been able to ride the odd cancelled show because of the sheer joy of so many wonderful nights watching and hearing you in your unique style which after you will be gone forever .. As Andrew said, you set the bar so high .. it won't be matched!

Have to be blind or totally up your own ass to miss it! It's a warm and generous heart and as big as your beautiful rock'n'roll soul.

I think that's more than enough Meat, that's wonderful of you to do that. That seems to be the main problem Meat, you're damned if you do, and you're damned if you don't. You get sick, and still go on and do your best, and people complain the show was no good and you shouldn't have gone on, or that you're past it and should give it up, but if you cancel they winge then too. But it's great that you are recovered now and putting on amazing shows once again. I'm really looking forward to the shows in Texas and Florida.

We know you wear your heart on your sleeve One thing I've always admired about you is your dedication to your fans Meat, and I'm sorry you feel that the minus outweighs the positive. I will always be grateful for all of the great shows I've seen so far, and I'm looking forward to seeing you again very soon.

You're a kind and very generous man, and I'm sure you've made a lot of fans in the UK very happy.

I think 2 for 1, and breaking even is definitely enough. Its very generous and im sure it will make them feel much better about the concert.

Well im not gonna say much, i have no idea of the specifics. I may be 22, but every day I watch live recorded DVD's and very recent youtubed shows of Springsteen, Ronnie Dio, Neil Young, the Stones, David Gilmour, Paul Mcartney, Willie Nelson, Leonard Cohen....All folks who are (or in ronnie's case were) between age 60-80.

I've watched those men go through rough patches where, honest to god for whatever reason, they sounded worse than usual and probably felt like age was wrecking their ability to put on a decent tour. But as a fan of 60's and 70's artists, Im happy to say that they have ALL worked through their problems, changed their shows and song arrangements to work with their current age and vocals, and they still put on a show worth paying money to see and hear, and that sell out!

Your in great shape physically and you can sing like f*cking crazy, better than most artists who are my age. Spacing the shows out this summer worked really well for you. Spacing them out even more by one day would probably help even more.

Now that your shows are back to a level of quality that all of your fans say each show is amazing, You will have a huge number of people wanting to see your shows while you are able to perform at this level. I say take advantage of that, continue to plug HCTB. I believe in you

HCTB on storytellers would be a dream come true.

By the way Meat, I played my 15 year old brother california isn't big enough in the car and he thinks its hilarous. He stared at me like 'whoa' when he heard your super high vocals on it. Now he's addicted to HCTB

He updated his facebook status saying how "Meat Loaf might be old but man he can still sing!" heheh....now he's had it on repeat for a few days and even likes did you ever love somebody.

This proves to me that HCTB would work for a younger generation. My girlfriend is 23 and she loves Madness and she likes the rest of the album too. I wish your record co had plugged HCTB to a younger generation. I can honestly say I never thought Mike would ever get addicted to HCTB. But He likes how funny and chill the music is :)

Yipee re: Uk show, oh no re: ticket sale dates.....lol! I'm in the States for the beginning of September....ack. Guess it means setting the alarm so I'm up at 3am which will be fun - not only that but my mom's PC is so ancient and slow that tickets will probably be gone (or seats way in the back will only be left) by the time I can login! Nothing like a challenge.

Video looks great, btw, but I can't hear a thing! Don't understand as sound was perfect yesterday but suddenly I can't hear any music on PC....will go back to bed and start the day over again.

Hopefully this works, but here's a better quality version of it...

musically it sounds better than previous versions, though I still think it's missing something just that kick that the original has...

You wear your heart on your sleeve? i would never have guessed LOL...

Can be hard being that way, i am very much like that myself and lose the plot because of it !

As i am from that neck of the woods, ( Newcastle ) and i was at the show where you got real sick and had to go off stage. I can say YES IMO it is enough ! I am so thrilled that you will be coming to Geordie Land ! I know that my nephews and my dad will be well pleased !
I haven't forgotten how much money you gave to the charities, as well as the very generous fans who gave money !
Not every performer would have took the time, to try and give something back !
Thank you for that !
