That's awesome, thanks Meat.

Been putting off getting this as I thought it was the same as what I have with the two songs added on the existing one.

Just out of interest, why should a Meat Loaf fan (who probably owns all his albums) buy Hits out of Hell at all, no matter whether it's the old or the new version? Unlike The Very Best Of (for example) the Hits CDs don't include anything that hasn't been released before.

Because if you read Meat's post above mine he confirms there's an interview on it and plus when I got that I was a new fan collecting what I could, so when I had got everything I could from my local HMV that's when I then got the rest on-line. Think when I got HOH I didn't own BA and all that so that's why it's in my possession...

I read it and I think he referred to the Rockpalast DVD, not to the CD.

to be honest its not up to Meat to stop selling the compilations its up to the people who are selling and making them, meat can't be held responseable for selling compilations. i think the people who are selling the compilations are just doing it so they can get money out of people it just show how people really are arsehols

You need to calm down woman. First of all read all the posts first before making comment then the comments you make will be more accurate. That aside, the term 'daft mare' is not meant to be interpretted as insultive but is used in the same playful manner as 'daft cow', 'silly sausage' etc. Stop being so uptight

Rockpalast a series of televised rock concerts in Germany. In 1978, Meat Loaf did a show in Offenbach that was recorded for that series.

Is that the same interview with you and Jim that's aired during the original showing on tv or a new one?

We're all fed up of seeing personal arguments spill out of threads that are actually starting to become interesting to read.

The "report post" facility or the ability to PM a moderator is open to all to use, and everything reported gets looked into. Don't try and circumvent that by spouting off publicly, it really doesn't help your cause.

As I said in the other thread this stops now!
Well said AndyK . The last thing anyone on here wants is for UK to end up like the mass of arguments and slanging matches that .net turned into

Seems the man himself is either psychic or has access to a crystal one himself if he can see that.

Really good to hear from Meat again on here after so long away though isnt it

Can't say I'm glad about this, it will probably encourage Sony to release more boring compilations.

LOL, I just discovered that you can pre-order it on amazon.de for € 40,99! Now that's a bargain.

while I think it's clearly another useless compilation, this new release shows one thing:

There's still a big demand for Meat Loaf records out there. And I'm not talking about the die hard fans, as we clearly wouldnt rush to the shops and buy the 100th version of the same compilation.

I dont think it happens every day that a best of album (of an "oldtimer" ) (with nearly no marketing efforts!) goes that high up in the charts.
