This is going way off topic,and at that,might be a subject that some of our friends might find a little sensitive,no offence is intended.
I couldn't agree more about Chris's point.
As a military historian,I hate the way that Hollywood destorts the facts

.
That film is an insult to the crew of HMS Bulldog,who was the ship who first captured an enigma machine (before America actually entered the war

).
I refuse point blank to watch it.I've seen a trailer for it,and the fact that the American sailors are suprised that the controls are in German says it all

.
I would like to make a film where the British plant the flag at Iwo Jima,just to show these idiot film makers what it feels like.
If you want to see a honest,realistic,non political,non flag waving war movie,take a look at Das Boot.It doesn't get more real than that.
