I think it's the situation that Meat has an image in his mind of what the album should sound like, and RC does all the technical stuff, chosing songwriters, etc
The fact that Rob Cavallo takes care of the production doesnt mean Meat has no influence. And personally speaking, I'd rather see him give the job to someone really good, than doing half the job himself. The two albums with his biggest involvement (MATLAF and BBIS) are his weakest (IMO). |

They may be "weak" but they are not bad. Those albums were victims of time and circumstance. BBIS was apparently spoiled by Frank Farian's production, in my opinion. And although Meat Loaf has claimed several times that he can't write songs, I dare to say that the few songs he wrote himself are better than some of the songs that were written for him by others. So long as he doesn't forget the lyrics then I don't care about the songwriters names.

Have to say I think the singing on the new video is a LOT better than on the first one. Sounds not as forced as the earlier clip.
Keep up the quality Mr Loaf |

He's said f-momma so many times on tour (SO MANY). first time the word is actually written (not add libbed) in context on album and song!
last time he really used an "extremely bad-boy mommy doesn't think that's appropriate" bad cuss word on a record was life is a lemon in 1992! You could argue "whore" but thats a live version sans the crowd.... Mabey this new song will replace Lemon in the set (finally no more lemon! Time to retire it, i must say) |

What planet would they be from then? Because this planet has about 6.5Billion humans and I'd say at best only 50Million would know that Meat Loaf says Fuck, which equals to less than 0.78% of the population. So when you say everyone that's not really true is it?

That's not a live version, it was recorded during the Bat 3 sessions. It may have been done with the whole band in one take, ie without overdubs etc.
