OMG...I am ok with watching bloody shows...to a limit. And this show is my limit! I would have liked if they left some of the gore to the imagination of the viewer! But I can see why Meat picked this role, how he looks at a script and questions "How am I gonna do that?!"
A+ for Meat's acting, F for the amount of gore! |

I watched the show tonight.. and thought it was really good.. I'm a horror/thriller movie buff, and still I looked away a couple of times.. don't want to ruin it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet.. that last FX is something I've not seen done exactly that way, in a film before, that I recall, and was pretty neat for an FX, quite realistic, I thought.
I thought Meat played the part very well, as he became Jake Feldman.. I also see why he took this part, some real challenges in this one. :) Well Done, Meat! ![]() J. |

I think I looked away when everyone except Jake died!
![]() ![]() I'm not too keen on horror movies unless I'm in that particular mood, or if I've seen them before, for example I think I saw The Shining when I was 9 or something, so it didn't bother me as much now as when I lent it to my friend who was about 16 when she first saw it and it scared the bejeepers out of her! ![]() But, I think the fact that no one on here likes Jake is testament to how well Meat played that part ![]() ![]() |

Watched the show this week, all I can say is it gives new meaning to the lyric, "I'm not afraid to shed all my skin."

Just thought last night: when making a programme like this the director must have to be careful what he says when the actors are holding sharp objects like knives or meat cleavers (no pun intended!

I saved the individual files to my desktop, Djfierce. Then once all the files were there (when last one finishes downloading) they neatly converted themselves onto "real player".

You're welcome, Djfierce.
You're not alone... it took me awhile to figure it out as well, since I've never used that system before. J. |

Yeah I got it to work....Loved It.....Loved the Blood...but did anyone realize the girl got her hand cut off like the raccoon in the trap did????? Thought it was good....not so much gore but more nudity then anything else and swearing....I liked it. I never turned away once. Trust me there is more gore in Dawn of the Dead remake.

Father dies - son, bashes his head in with a bat. Son dies - head caught in trap Jake dies -skinned alive another guy - gutted Shanna dies - by getting her hand cut off The show certainly makes a statement about animal rights/inhuman treatment/cruelity ect.. imho. J. |

At the risk of creating debate, how about the seamstress who sewed herself up? Maybe the connection to animal killings is obvious, I can't see it though.

Man! I was getting ready to write about the death scene's...but you took my fun.....Ok well when ml used the knife to cut himself well that part was a dull knife with a squeeze ball thingy depensing corn syrup through a little hose along the blade (gotta quite watching horror movie how they do that stuff). which ml probably did himself by squeezing it....Then it goes into the the skin pulling which is fake but it was well made......just wonder how much corn syrup they used causes that stuff is sticky.

Breaking down the death scenes to show how they relate between animal and people...
Father dies - son, bashes his head in with a bat..... like the raccoon the dad crushed Son dies - head caught in trap...like the raccoons caught in the traps Jake dies -skinned alive.....like what they did to the animals Another guy - gutted using scissors...cutted pelts with scissors to make coat Shanna dies - by getting her hand cut off...like raccoon in trap that had the same thing happen to it. Seamtress- sufficated by sewing her nose and mouth.....like the threads they used to make the coat Thats how they relate... I think.....Scissors, threads, pelts, dead animals, catching animals, and skinning part of making the coat Well I tried anyone else got any ideas about this subject.
