every show/contest/radio/tv adds etc etc,, you do Meat is promo at the end of the day. thats why i find it strange when people are in shock when you appear on such shows. but as you said, this is what you have to do these days to get deals/exposure? and plus all your charity work. keep going it will pay off

At the end of the day, Meat is raising a hell of a lot of money for his chosen charity, which is going to benefit a lot of children and their families. IMO that is what counts, raising money for charity is never a bad thing ! If you don't like the show you don't have to watch it. Not saying you can't have an opinion on Meat doing the show, my opinion is that it is great !

And imo, at Meat's age, it would look ridiculous now too.

I don't think Meat looked ridiculous at all in 2006 .. although the look was a bit too like Desmond for my money. I do think now he looks younger and more handsome .. and he can look dangerous whenever he chooses

They talked about Celebrity Apprentice on my local radio this morning. The DJ's commented that by all the promo that Meat Loaf seemed to be the "heavy hitter." They also mentioned there was rumor of a "new" Meat Loaf CD being released on the coat tails of Celebrity Apprentice - maybe the re-release of Hang Cool Teddy Bear???

Why would you hope it to be a re-release instead of something new?

Good point
Technically it would be new if they added Prize Fight Lover and the spoken parts from the story And hopefully the record company would do a better job promoting it this time.

It would be nice if a couple of the 'missing' songs from the Casa De Carne tour or something else from the PNC show were also included in the package.

I's sure you're right and that's what's Meat meant when he posted here about the attention that had arisen due to the trailers for CA and attendant publicity .. "This show isn't over. if we get airplay . they will re-lease."

Even with an additional track and spoken parts of the short story added before some songs, it's an HCTB re-release, which he said would go to Itunes in USA. The new album he's working on couldn't be described as "on the coat-tails of Celebrity Apprentice" imo

Thought it was a cool look too. With the longish hair and goatee. That being said, I can't wait for Sunday. I followed Celebrity Appearance last year, the one with Bret Michaels & SHaron Osbourne. She a cutie I might add. Though I wouldn't wanna see her with a goatee

It was all very chatty on the radio this morning. They were going over all of the contestants on the newest Celeb Apprentice. As is the usual format with our drive hour show, our local girl will pitch the ball (provide the info) and the two guys will bat it. She was giving the names and they were all talking about it. When she said Meat Loaf - one guy said that Meat Loaf looked to be featured a lot based on the commercials being shown on TV and the other guy said to watch out for the new CD being released - they all said it seemed excellent timing for Meat Loaf to release a new CD with the appearance on the show. HCTB or something else, it is all new to most of American radio, as they really only "know" what is on their play list and nothing from HCTB really hit priority play list on Clear Channel. Either way, it was exciting to hear Meat being talked about while driving to work this morning!!

Yeah, it's aways exciting to hear or see something about Meat in the media. Hopefully all this new found publicity will help generate some interest in what he's been doing recently.

It was pretty much amazing to hear Meat Loaf being talked about in reference to new things he was working on and NO mention of Bat Out Of Hell
