Bat Out Of Hell - new vinyl release
Some info for collectors, vinyl maniacs and nostalgics. I just got a Bat Out Of Hell re-release from 2010. It's a thick, heavy 180g record that comes in a gatefold cover and with orange labels that look similar to those used by Epic in the 1970s. I haven't played it and don't know what it sounds like yet though.

“It’s a fallacy that no one wants to spend money on physical media anymore, on the contrary, fans of artists such as Metallica, Radiohead and Duke Special prove that music lovers are happy to spend a bit more for a truly special and unique item. The opulence of the latest Duke Special limited edition clearly proves this trend.” Christoph Dallach (from 2006 ) |

I will as soon as I have gotten a new pick-up for the turntable.
Does this refer to the wooden box with the 7" singles? |

What does the artwork look like inside the gatefold? |

There's nothing new when it comes to artwork. They just printed the lyrics on the inside. The record is housed in a transparent plastic sleeve. It looks nice anyway.
