The new thread, because its a new and newsworthy item. The album, because he's a guy with more than one string to his bow and he wants to live the dream. Don't lose sight of the fact that Meat himself is an actor first and a singer second.

well, personally speaking i think hugh is a better actor than meat, but i base that on hugh as house (and a multitude of different rolls in comedy) vs meat as meat doing different random films (and ocassionally a good one

Very cool!

I loved his parodies he'd do on A Bit Of Fry And Laurie back in the day! (I have the whole collection on DVD). He's such a great piano player...and a guitar player, singer and drummer.

Some people hog all the talent don't they?

My bass playing mate (who is amazing) can play the drums, piano, harmonica, guitar, banjo...the list goes on...he is one the guys that before I was in a band with him, I hated him coz he could play the drums better than me and he is a bass player

But I think its cool that Hugh is doing a blues album, I love the blues, and will have a listen when its released.
