I'm 25 and first heard Meat in the early 90's on the same Album. I was drawn to the gothic imagery on the cover!

Other music has never sounded quite the same since..!!

I'm 37 and first heard Meat about 1980 at the school disco. we had a live band and they played the intro to Bat (didnt paly any more-shame) and I asked my mate what that music was as it was wicked. went out and bought the album next day and been hooked ever since.

First saw him in concert on nov 17th 1984 at nottingham Royal Concert hall and he was awsome. That same night I was supposed to have had my first date with the bloke who became my 1st husband but I refused to go out with him as I was going to see my man. I often wonder if that was the reason he didn't like Meat!

Isn't it starnge how you remember little things like this in life? Ask me about yesterday and I couldn't tell you!

Default How long? .... mmmm

I'm 47 and have been hooked since I got BOOH for Christmas in 1977. My brother bought it as a joke! He now realizes what he started everytime I go home for a holiday! But I dragged him to the concert in Sarnia 2 years ago, and even he admitted the concert was great, as did his wife (who is not a fan of this music at all!!) Now it has gotten to a point where my kids are the ones telling me to turn the music down! What a great world, he! Where we can be kids til we drop dead! lol

49 and first heard Meat in the 70's. Attracted to his great charisma at first his music grew on me, and grew and grew. Have my leg pulled terribly by the rest of my family (who have no taste at all)!

But I will never, ever, ever stop rocking!!!

Love

I'm 42 and the first time I listened to Meat was when he did Storytellers on VH1 in 1999. I got hooked on his music as soon as I heard him and Patti sing Paradise ... which is why it'll always be my favorite song :)
