I know this isn't the right thread to say so, but it was a good movie and an excellent performance by Meat! One of his very best - maybe the best. I'm glad though, that I didn't see these pics beforehand, because I may not have been able to stay in the moment of the movie. As it was, it impacted me just the way I think it was intended to, lol (freaked me out)

It would probably be one of my favourites too if it wasn't for the fact that that is probably the body-suit-type-thingy that he peels off and not the real Meat.

needmoremeat 07 Dec 2006 20:27

Don't think I've ever wanted to be a mirror so badly!:lmao: I like how he is in front of a mirror so we get the front and back view simultaneously!:D Has anyone else noticed in the video the muscle shifting in his back when he takes off his shirt? :-P   :faint:

Green_bean 07 Dec 2006 21:13

Gah.....when that man has stubble its make me crazy:drool:

I thought it was real, it certainly looks real. Maybe the body suit came that crucial few seconds later. If you look at the way the skin and muscle moves in the top of his back when he removes his shirt it looks real...well, to me anyway! I like to think it's real!;)

Caelan 07 Dec 2006 22:38

Meat's skin looks and probably is real until the cutting starts. I looked really close at Meat's scene and also that of the guy who cuts his guts out of himself. There you could see some fake skin. With Jake Feldman, you didn't see or expect fake skin until he actually started pulling it off of his body, as the cut scenes were shown with Meat cutting himself as if off-camera. The special effects people did a great job; that was not an easy scene to pull off (excuse unintended pun)!

That's what I thought, too. Also how the camera cuts away from Jake to show the knife being dropped in the sink before going back to him pulling his skin off, if he was already wearing the bodysuit they might not have had to do that and instead show the full horrific scene! Also he'd have had to have the underneath of his skin (I'm presuming that was some sort of vest, too) on as well as the top false skin.
Didn't see the fake skin when the guy cut his guts out, I couldn't watch that part!

Gorgeous pic, Sunny.. Thanks. :))

Thanks Balackkay13, for those great pics from the AMA's as well. :))

I also agree, that Meat did an excellent job, playing the character of Jake Feldman, convincingly creepy... that dude was... BBRRRR..
I was also really impressed by the quality of the FX in the show, which is highly important in a horror story sense, they need to look real..
