It's my all time favorite pic of Meat .. not only because he looks fantastic, but also because it reminds me of how special it was being there at the listening party in July and hearing Bat III for the very first time.

Don't get me wrong, I love Meat to pieces, but the days of long hair on him are gone. He looks so much more alive with short hair now.

This is an especially good pic of Meat - and, where I'm sure it was taken where we all were at the limo after the Listening Party - a lucky shot as well. He was thoroughly exhausted when he came out: He barely talked during our time with him, and that isn't him, and you can see a slight redness in his eyes, but nothing else shows in that photo but his great smile and looks.

What more could a girl need on a Sunday morning! :))

Let's be brutally honest, we all have to wear our hair differently as we age. Meat's lost all the "beef" from his face to carry off the long hair these days. He's still the same guy, but maturing to perfection I reckon.

I take Tink's point about the video, and although I just don't "get" the video, I love Meat's look of today in it and in these pics. :D

Well I would have to highjack my sister's digital camera....I don't know if i could get them, but on rol they got the scene's....not much really just his back and chest a little. I'll see what I can do...Can't make a promise but will try.

I think my opinion is too personally-based! Meat with long hair is, in my head, "proper Meat" as that's what he looked like when I became a fan, but of all the times I've met him (1999 onwards ) he's had short hair, so I'm kind of biased towards that becasue I look at short-haired Meat and see the guy I met....

Don't make me choose one!!

I can't!! I love his short hair but I remember feeling a hideous amount of jealousy when I read in RVM that Eva had stroked the long hair...!!!!
