I know why I've been banned. I know... what my problem is (what nobody understands here) the rule. No, it's not rule. It's a message by Meat Loaf and the moderator hmmm... was licking his ass? :)

I know, I played with limes, I played with the toleration of the moderators. It's not a question anymore. I am so sad for Meat sent a PM or mail to moderators that don't let to write negative opinions abot his songs before release. It was on internet, there was a video of the song on internet. Accept opinions and say Meat: No, I won't delete it, it's only an opinion. If you can tolerate that, don't put your video before release or anything else. My problem is Meat Loaf-'s quote and the moderators' reaction... I will never accept and understand. Is it clear?

I see your point, because given what you've said ( which I can't comment on because this has nothing at all to do with me ) it would seem that the thread was changed etc due to the PM being from Meat rather than another "regular" member, and if that's the case then I see why you're pi$$ed about it...but is there any need for a ranting match v's moderators on here? I fail to see why if there was still an issue about this it couldn't have been dealt with over PM/Email

In fact, to my own knowledge, Meat has NEVER contacted a mod directly (or indirectly for that matter) asking for a post to be edited or deleted.

The message was deleted baised purely on the content.

You were told not to repost it, because you had includeed this in your post (i've just been looking at them in the deleted posts archives)

So obviously you knew you were doing something wrong to include this in your first post.

You then ignored numerous warnings to stop this behaviour, instead you made several rants about freedom of speech, going even as far as recomending that people should go read the declaration of free speech on the UN's website :wtf:



Bottom line on this.


You posted in a disrespectful way.

The post was deleted, you were told not to post it again.

You ignored the warning, you posted.

You went on to ignore more warnings (as i've said, i've looked through the archieves, and I could find FIVE threads straight away that you started that were deleted by me and another mod on this matter), until I finally said if you post it one more time, you WILL be banned.

The meassage was clear, you would be banned if you posted that message again.

You chose to ignore this last warning, and you once again posted.

You were banned.

You cannot complain that you were not given warning, or that the banning was uncalled for.

Neil why don't you just lock this thread cause it seems to be useless to explain over and over again..if it is or would be any help leave it open but
there are always some people who just don't want to agree with some rules..

i totaly agree with Caelan, the rules are clear, Mouse thinks he has to explain it AGAIN... no you don't Mouse, its repeating youre earlyer post, and it seems that White of Hight just wont agree. Can we please move on now?

I wrote it after you've deleted 2 or 3 times my posts. wrote if you want to delete you can but I will copy again until we can't talk about it. Now we talk...

My problem is clear and I want to ask moderators, don't let themselves! What I was writing about freedom of speech in tha past that's true... I rhink... in the future... there will be some new songs by Meat Loaf or somebody else on internet and we can listen them, let writing our opinions and forget Meat Loaf's message what was the next:

"My so devoted fans, were getting adds from many radio stations and the phones and research are very good, with fans like some of you, I sure don't need enemies . If your going to be so negative , keep your opinions to yourself . If you want be negative go somewhere else to post all your BS and not here. If you can't or you think I'm wrong my name will be off this site as fast as I can get it off. People come to a fan site for the first time and all they see are fans being negative, how does that help the process . If you think I'm wrong that's fine but by this time next week this site will not be a Meat Loaf site."

Now compare: It's All Coming Back To Me Now is not as good as Celine's or Pandora's version...

It seems White is just being argumentative, i'm getting really pissed just lately reading all the crap going on so i'll be as reserved as i can.
You claim it was as simple as giving an opinion on the song before it was released. That cant be true! Simply because there is a whole thread which i believe was called .... Now you've heard it review it....... which was started after the liner notes radio show.....where reviews were put on by many people (never deleted, though some negative) about the album which had not been released yet.

Nuff said...get over it

Go back and re read my last post on this thread as it is the final word on the subject.

Before I lock this, I would like to put a reminder up in advance (call it insurance) that starting duplicate threads of topics already locked by a staff member are against the forum rules.

White, if you've still got issues, there's not alot that can be done about it in retrospect. In the future, let's just see what happens huh? You know the drill with regards to any "moderation" type decision made on here, as does everyone, if you don't like what's been said to you, then talk to us, preferably via PM rather than letting it turn into another public slanging match where it seems to turn into open season on the people who work so bloody hard to keep this site going for everyones enjoyment ... ;-)
