Ban
I was banned for a long-long time!
Can I ask why did you ban one of the oldest member on this site? That's so sad! |

As the mod involved, I very reluctantly banned you for repeatedly ignoring warnings and breaking forum rules.
You posted something, it was removed. You posted it again. I removed the second post and warned you that posting it again would be in breach of the forum rules. You then went on to ignore several warnings, icluding the last, which said in no uncertain terms, that if you post that post one more time YOU WILL BE BANNED. You posted it. You were banned. Welcome back to the forum, and please from now on post within the forum rules. |

I didn't do anything just said: I think It's All Coming Back To Me Now is not as good as Celine's or Pandora's version... that had been deleted with the next quote: "to write a bad critics of this song is not permitted"
Am I right? |

I'm actually waiting to give R. a chance to respond to this thread. I don't remember exactly what was posted, but I rememberr it was posted in an offensive way. You were warned about that, and you again and again ignored warnings until you were banned. I've already answered youe question, but that doesn't seem to be enough, so i'm letting R. have a go at explaining things. |

Does Meat Loaf pay this site for working or not?
1. Yes - everything is okay, he can make the rules but everybody should know this... hmmm? 2. No - it's a fansite where the fans are meeting, they are talking about Meat Loaf and his music and everything else. Meat Loaf has to learn that he can get critics. If he can't stand it... Well... who pays this site? Jack :) PS.: do you understand why I was so angry and why I did attack your rules? That was the reason to had been banned? |

As much as a I disagree with some of the reasons people are banned from here, I totally do not get what your saying because if you read the thread properly you would see that, White Of.... whatever wasn't banned because she had an opinion but because she expressed it in an offensive way.
Simply saying "Bat 3 is crap" is not gonna get you banned.......... You will simpy get laughed at then mobbed by an angry bunch of fans...... Who, believe me, are merciless. |

There is alot of people have the right to say what they want etc at the moment.
Truth is if you say you don't like something fine i will respect that but if your just out for a reaction then what's the point? |

I have to explain the situation.
I said in a topic that IACBTM was not good, Celine's and Pandora's version is better. I said it before the album was come out. The moderator deleted my topic because he got an instruction by Meat Loaf in PM that it's not allowed to say bad critics before the album has come out. I heard this song in MP3 and they saved him with the next one: MP3 is not audio, we have to wait with our opinion till the album will be come out. They deleted my quote. I was angry and wrote it again... delete again, get a PM with Meat Loaf's words by the moderator and a threat that I will be banned. I was angrier and I opened a new topic in Site Feedback section about the next: is that normal in a fansite if the musical star says what is allowed or not. That was deleted again. I started conversation twice more and that was always deleted. I was f*** angry and I wrote that the rules were rubbish and I didn't have freedom of speech. After I was banned... Well... my question: is that right to accept all demands of Meat Loaf in a fansite what is not payed by him??? |

Mate, if you got told that many times not to post whatever, and you kept posting it, what else can the mods etc do? Obviously requests and then warnings didn't work... what would you have had the powers that be do?
With hindsight, it may have been wiser to question the rules in private, and leave your posting until it was phrased better. To your question: it may not be ethically "right" in the interests of freedom of expression to let someone other than people who pay for this site to make the rules. However, it is a Meat Loaf site, and if we want him to come here, he needs to be kept semi-placated. The people who pay for the site obviously want Meat here, thus it is their choice to accept his demands in exchange for his precense. |

Well it's not paid for by you either is it? And R has explained that he takes Meat's feelings and concerns into account, and his reasons for doing this. If Meat stopped coming here there'd be no opportunity for you to keep posting that you want him to come to Budapest (despite the fact you think his voice is weak and you don't think IACBTMN is good :) )
And I know of fansites of other stars where, yes, negative comments are not expected .. and those stars don't even bother to come to the sites. And yes, I think it's entirely reasonable that R and the moderators take into account Meat's feelings about negative posts about his work here, and make a decision as they see fit, particularly in view of the fact this is the main UK Meat site and as Meat said, how does it help the process for new fans to come here and see an album he's working his ass off to promote being trashed before it's even released? It seems to me you were banned because you refused to accept the webmaster's decision .. ( and I seem to recall that you used far more derogatory terms than "IACBTMN isn't good") and continued to push your case in the forum when the rules clearly say you shouldn't argue with moderator dexisions in public on the board .. and as webmaster R is entitled to make decisions. Going on and on about something that's done and over seems to have little point to me .. apart from sailing close to the wind. And you're back .. not paying for the site, and imo being given quite a significant amount of latitude in grumbling about and questioning a decision that was made some time ago .. and is history. Just my opinion with the greatest of respect :) It's history .. time to move on. Caryl |

I agree...it's time to put past behind, re-read the rules of this forum, understand them and respect them...and move on with your life...
And yes...would have been better if you've asked all these questions in private...and once again...it appears to me as if you already know the answers... Welcome back and good luck! |
