The Waves Are Pounding On The Sand Tonight
For those interested, I launched another weather balloon on Saturday, carrying a photographic payload to "near space" to bring back photos like these:
IMG_8435 by daveake, on Flickr It landed 500 metres out to sea before being brought to shore (and my waiting hands) by the wind and incoming tide. See my blog and my flickr set for more info and photos. Dave |

Shoreham-by-sea. Read the blog! We were sat in our car nearby, waiting for it to come in, watching it move on the live map screen.
Grrrrr ... no Lego man. Dunno how come that flight got such wide publicity as it was a very "ordinary" flight compared to some. Dave |
