Don't worry, Eyeore! Erm... well, I would actually place Meat AND Chris de Burgh on number one; as I have been a great CdeB fan for years - and still am! So now... don't kill ME! [/quote]

Not so much a top ten, here's just a list of singers I find really good, or impressive, or at least have something going on...

Male:
Meat Loaf (like, eh... du'h!)
Damian Wilson (ex-Threshold, Ayreon)
'Sir' Russell Allen (Symphony X, but I really love what he's done with Arjen Anthony Lucassen's Star One)
Pascal Jakobsen (Blřf)
Bruce 'Air-Raid Siren' Dickinson (Maiden)
Freddie Mercury (Queen)
Richie Sambora (Bon Jovi, screw Jon)
Mikael Äkerfeldt (Opeth, does some awesome screams and grunts, but can sing very beatiful too)
Rory Dodd ("Turn around, Bright Eyes")
Kyle "Scarpia" Gordon (DotV Demos, AKIATTTW demo)
Zak Stevens (ex-Savatage, Circle II Circle)
Jon Oliva (Savatage, Doctor Butcher)
and recently I saw Kelly Keeling (Michael Schenker Group, Blue Murder, Erik Norlander) and he was really impressive live...

Female:
Lana Lane
Floor Jansen (After Forever, Star One)
Sharon den Adel (Within Temptation)
Tarja Turunen (Nightwish)
Amy Lee (Evanescence)

All I can think of right now... for the worst singer catagory I nominate Franssie Bauwer, both Jim and Jamai (LOL right back at ya, Marriella), and Mariah "ooh, let's try some more high notes" Carey...

8. David Byrne (Talking Heads)

9. Chris Issac (Heart Shaped World is the best album ever for the broken hearted!)

(if I could go for an even dozen, I would add...)

11. Randy Travis

12. Ricky Skaggs (Yeah, I've got a touch of country in me!)

If you mean the female singer from the "Total Eclipse", "Braver Than We Are" and "Dance of the Vampires" demos, you're talking about Elaine Caswell, who you might also know for her work with Pandora's Box (All Coming Back, It Just Won't Quit)... if you're taking about the "Angels Arise" demo, I don't have a clue who that is...
