important question: international phonecalls
OK, heres my problem.
If I'm calling a UK number from Germany, I have to dial: 0044xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx the same if I want to call a mobile phone. BUT what happens, if I am calling a UK mobile with my German mobile IN THE UK? Do I still have to call 0044xxx or just the number 'normal' UK phoners had to call. I have seriously no idea. AND, thats not all: What do I have to do, if I am calling a USA number IN THE UK with my German mobile phone? |

That really depends on your moble phone provider.
Once you arrive in the UK you should get a text message fomr the local provider who hosts your service here in the UK, that will tell you how and what to dial. When I go to France with work, my mobile allows me to dial back to the UK as if I am dialling from the UK. Can't tell you how it works with dialling to other countries though, as I never dial them

You stil have to add 0044!
And be aware: (despite having a german mobile phone number) if you want to be connected to a german number.... you will have to add the entrance number of Germany, when being in the UK. |

Store or dial the phone numbers with the international dialing prefix +49, +44, +351 or whatever and your mobile phone decides how and when to apply the prefixes!

if you are dialling within the UK while you are visiting here, put +44 on all the English numbers. If you are phoning Germany, I'm sure someone said the prefix was +49 but you'll have to check that as I've never called Germany.
