Well, it was a very 'hard' choice for me. But serious, so many great songs on this album!
I am very interested to see the results.

Thank You, Heat!!!

Love,

Mariella

I personally would like to see Did I Say That released - think this song deserves to go straight to no. 1

My thought exactly dottie. You didn't vote for it in the poll though as it only has one vote at the moment and that was me

theres sooo many possibilites for single releases. I remember reading an interview where Meat said there were 8 possible singles from the album - i can remember Do it, Tear me down and mercury blues werent any of them. In my opinion the potential is there for lots of releases into the charts from this album but by November, 7 months on from albums release, only a 2nd will be released! I believe it will be either DIST or Testify..then again mercury knowing them might come up with something we'd least expect e.g WITE or something

Yes, I agree, I would love to see Man Of Steel as a single. I'd like to see a music video for it, but that isn't likely.

Very interesting, a lot of people choose DIST and there is a video of that one. I am 'not too crazy' about it, but it is there.

Interesting...

I can't decide. I think that some of the shorter songs like WITE, BOY or YRIWW would probably do better comercially, but critics always expect the big songs like DIST to be released.
Personally I would like Man of Steel or Testify to be released next. But I can only pick one huh?
Hmmmmm...

I really don't think "Testify" is commercial enough for this country at least. And if Meat isn't going to be making videos, they really should put out "Did I Say That" next since it has once. Videos are vital in the UK for chart success.

Also, would it be possible to re-release CHSIB as a double A-side with the next single?

I think that Testify will do better as a single. Cause it is kind of a gospel song, but also a rock song. It is a great one.

Hard to choose...my personal favourite would not neccesarily make the best choice for a single
i think probably Testify because as well as being a great song..it also one of those you can't get out of your head

also think ManOf Steel

I've been saying for a while that CHSIB, Testify and Tear Me Down are my favorites, but this last month I have been on vacation and never had the car all to myself, hence I was never able to play the whole CHSIB CD. Now which song was constantly running through my mind in the CD's absence- "Did I Say That". Odd, but it seems to have snuck in and become my new favorite. I think it has so much clever wordplay and great music that it would be a great choice for the next single. Thank goodness I am now home from vacation and I can play the CD in my car to my hearts content!

Testify is a great song. I can't stop putting it on and i already know that as soonas i finish typingthis i'm gonna go put it on. I just not sure it'd do well if it was released as a single. It's not commercial enough.

After Testify I think DIST. I didn't like Man of Steel so much thoughit's still a good song. I don't think it should be released as a single.

Everyone has been saying that of the new songs that Meat's been performing, "Testify" seems to get the greatest crowd reaction. So with that said, I'm picking "Testify".

No hesitation, Testify, and I Will tell you why.

This song is screaming for a music video. I can picture this rock gospel country type of western thing going on, lol. For the ladies I say, imagine Meat in a cowboy hat, dressed as a cowboy. For the guys I say, imagine Patti, as a cowgirl, with a straw hat and some nice jeans on. :) <RSG faints on the floor and doesn't gain conscienceness>

oh and i forgot to mention, how incredible this song is and how i'm so glad Meat did something like this.
